ADMISSION

Terms & Conditions

Whether you are a highly trained conductor, a promising student, or an avid amateur, our orchestral conducting masterclass offers many opportunities to improve as a conductor. In order to provide the most enriching experience (as an active, semi-passive, and passive participant) for all participants, enrollment is limited.

Applications will be reviewed and processed between the 3rd and 5th of November 2021. Applications received after that will be considered on a rolling, space-available basis.

Applicants will be notified about the participation latest on the 5th of November, 2021 via email. Participants must confirm their participation by email and pay the participation fee within 1 week, latest by the 12th of November, 2021. If one fails to do so, the applicant will be automatically excluded from participation. Vacant place(s) will be offered to a candidate(s) selected from the reserve list. Should you find any difficult to pay the participation fee in one go, please contact us in order to discuss the payment procedure.

Auditor/Passive Participant
The interested audience, musicians, etc. can apply to be a passive participant/auditor during the masterclass (please also fill out the form, or send an email to info@metamusicacademy.com). Auditors are not participants and therefore not placed on the reserve list. Auditors have however access to all rehearsals of the masterclass and to the final masterclass concert.

Application

Applications, including all requested documents, videos, and application fees, must be received by the masterclass office before the 5th of November, 2021. Applications must be accompanied by the following documents (in English), and sent to info@metamusicacademy.com:

  1. Application form (online) with a video that may contain both rehearsal and concert.

  2. Two different, recent photos in JPEG format (max. 5MB per picture). Please upload the photos either on google drive, dropbox, or send these via email.

  3. A scanned photocopy of passport or ID card (with translation if necessary)

  4. The application fee of 80 Euro (see application form)

  5. Short biography of max. 300 words in English (Word format).

  6. Video of you conducting - please include a link into the application form or send us a link to the video that is stored on Google Drive, or Dropbox. Please do not send us videos via WeTransfer or via similar services. In case you have no video of you conducting (maybe because you are conducting only for a short period of time, etc.) please contact us via email to discuss this matter

Incomplete applications or applications without the payment of the application fee will not be taken into consideration. Payment of the application fee must be in our bank account before the deadline.
